Hey folks, I am considering buying this. How much playability does this game have? Are there any different game modes, or is it just the same old run through? How many characters and is it always the same linear sequence of events from cradle to the grave? Thanks in advance!...

What does the little orb thing do, if anything? I've found it twice in 2 playthroughs. I don't want to get rid of it if it does anything cool.

I ask, because I finished one game without inviting anyone but dogs but I didn't get the achievement. I see three possible reasons why I didn't get it: 1 it wasn't a full game, I started in the second biome, not the first (most likely it is this one). 2 I did go to pick up events, but when the applicant wasn't a dog, I didn't perform the Invite action. 3 I robbed and killed some traders on the way, and I think they were the extra humans that showed up on my end screen, or it might have been the applicants ...

I am in the third or fourth region and the only thing I really need to do is get gasoline from time to time. Weapons lie randomly on the ground if I need any. So I go from place to place and get gasoline. Is this really all there is to the game? I feel like I'm missing something pretty crucial :D...

Was the game harder at one point, the reviews are terrible but the game seems fine now. It has a very pleasing difficulty curve .. Also was there some kind of inescapable RNG at one point ? It seems like the game can be solved with some honest effort and planning. Playing from the itch.io bundle...
